"My 3 Year old son (Vedant) was suffering from toothache. I visited approx 10-12 dentists in Dombivli for the same and it was concluded that his 7-8 tooth's has cavities and requires various treatments such as Pulpectomy/Pulpoctomy (type of root canal treatment for kids/infants), fillings. Considering his age (as he will not be sit quietly in clinic setup and won't allow to perform the treatment + due to multiple cavities requires multiple sittings) almost all dentists advised to go for treatment under General Anaesthesia (GA) where he will be treated in Operation Theatre as normal surgery case. However since I was already going emotional trauma (as my mother in law got expired during brain tumour surgery and she was under anaesthesia) and within one week I have to take my 3 yr old son under this type treatment under anaesthesia. I was not at all comfortable for the same but have to do something since his complaints related to toothache were increasing day by day. Finally I met Dr. Tushar Mane (Smiledent Dental Care And Implant Centre, Dombivli) and spoke about the concerns. He explained me the reason for conducting treatment under anaesthesia as if kids moves littlebit during treatment at clinic then dental equipments/instruments which runs with 30,000 / 3 lakh RPM can harm them. The kind of patience and 'human touch' what he has and maintains is commendable. His overall behaviour, soft spoken skill and his expertise .. on the subject gave me the required confidence and then I almost made my decision to get treatment from him. Considering the treatment and cavities severity, he immediately fixed the treatment through one of the Anaesthesia Specialist Dr Prasanna Mahajan (in Orion Hospital) along with Pediatric dentist Dr Sasmit Chowdhry who conducted the treatment. During treatment, He ensured to give me periodic update about the treatment and son's health which I feel it was very much required at that point of time. While getting the Mediclaim reimbursement for the treatment he was very much approachable and provided all kind of support and required clarification to the TPA/insurance company. Overall the experience of getting treatment at his clinic was very much satisfactory and hence I took my elder son (5 yr) for his teeth's related treatment. Madam at clinic also made my kids very comfortable which helped kids to get ready for the treatment."

"Had done root canal more than 8 yrs back, had no issues apart from one time the cap came off, which was duly fixed. Recently had to get a tooth extraction done and was done with utmost care and also cleaning was done. Good part is, doctor explains the issue and possible solutions thereby enabling the patient to take an informed decision and not due to fear. The facility is well maintained and staffs are helpful and takes proper follow up. Definitely recommended for any tooth issues!"
