"I was referred to doctor Bohra after a troublesome couple of months speaking with over 5 doctors and dentists regarding sudden jaw pain. I live in Goa but got recommended to go and see him in Bombay. Since the first contact with him I already understood that he's a real specialist in hia field. He was very clear with what might have been going on and advised us to go and do some more specific exams in Bombay before meeting with him. Unfortunately from what seemed to be a simple disc displacement which could be fixed with a straight forward arthroscopy, I was told the issue was quite a lot more serious and that I would need open jaw surgery on my right side AND an arthroscopy on the left side. This was very probably due to two accidents I had when I was a kid which I carried for over 30 years. the situation wasn't pretty. Dr Bohra delivered the bad news with incredible professionalism and explained to me exactly what was going on step by step and answered every possible question I had. As much as I was devastated by the news of having to have open jaw surgery, I was also relieved by how everything was explained to me. His professionalism and human touch reassured me and I felt safe going ahead with the procedure as recommended. Less than 5 days later I had the surgery. It was 5 hours hours long, so not exactly a walk in the park. During this time Dr Bohra spoke to my boyfriend and kept him updated before and after the surgery. He never felt left out from the loop and was involved in all updates and what was happening step by step. So not only Dr Bohra is incredibly good with his patients but he also reassures family members by keeping them involved and informed. This was very much appreciated. The surgery went well and while I was in hospital after surgery he visited me several times and examined my new scars very carefully. This made me feel looked after, even after surgery. 10 days later I have had the all clear from any complications that might have occurred such as infections or serious nerve damage. He removed the stitches and also there, the work he has done is incredible. As a woman I wasn't a big fan of having scars on my face, but considering the major surgery I went through and how big the cuts were, the scars look already very good, and that's just 10 days later. I'm very confident I'll barely see them once they are completely healed. Overall, my experience with Dr. Boraj has been overwhelmingly positive. A true professional under every aspect. From his knowledge to his human touch and great personality this man is a true doctor in every way. It was a pleasure to be treated by him and I highly recommend him if you have any TMJ issue."

"I underwent TMJ open joint surgery in March 2023 by Dr. Tohfiq Bohra. My case was worsened before i visited this doctor and he advised me for surgery.
