"Had broken my jaw sometime back and was told there was no surgery needed. Now it had started to give major issues like pain, swelling, clicking. We talked to a few doctors who either told us there is no hope or its too risky. We consulted Dr. Varun Kunte who immediately suggested we have a talk with Dr. Toufiq Bohra. On our 1st consultation we were impressed by the confidence and time he took to explain my issues in detail even if he had to repeat a few times. He explained in detail what's wrong with my Jaw, explained medical terms for them and also gave us various solutions with a lot of patience and kindness. After he suggested an open joint surgery, we had a lot of confidence in him to go ahead with it. Right before the surgery and after as well he would come up and check up on me and make sure I'm comfortable and doing good. It's been around 5 days since the surgery and everything's been going really good. I can already feel changes in my jaw movement and it's only going to get better. If you have any TMJ issues, I would definitely recommend Dr. Toufiq Bohra. An expert who is also a very humble person. I will post another review after a couple of months post surgery and share my healing progress!"

"I Prachi Ambavale, had a Tmj issue for the last one year due to which I used to have headaches, Clicking sounds in the jaw joint while opening or closing my mouth, and deviation of the jaw on closing the mouth. I even had a habit of bruxism. I visited numerous Dentists, ENT, and Neurologists but nothing helped. Eventually, the pain got worst and I visited DR. Tofiq Bohra based on the Google review. From the first visit, he was very clear and concise about what was happening and how things would proceed. After seeing all my scans and reports he informed me there was a bilateral Anterior disc displacement and a parrot beak appearance of mandibular condyles. He briefly explained to me the cause and the solution which either was arthroscopy or open joint surgery. He explained the pros and cons of both surgeries and I chose an open joint surgery. The surgery went well, it's been a week and I can already see a great change. The treatment was done at Aaradhya health care, Andheri east. The hospital and staff were always helpful and kind. Dr. Tofiq Bohra is incredible. Not only he had taken great care of my health, but also he is lovely to speak with at every appointment. It's rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with an outstanding quality of medical care. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a specialist."
