"Earlier this year (2026), my mother suddenly started experiencing severe pain in her left temporomandibular joint (TMJ). Initially, the symptoms resembled an ear problem, with pain around the ear, sudden headaches, difficulty chewing food, and a clicking sound while opening her mouth. After undergoing a CBCT scan, we discovered that the issue was related to her TMJ. We first tried several conservative treatment options, including pain medications and TENS therapy, but unfortunately, none of them provided relief(recommended by a nearby dentist) a detailed MRI later confirmed that she had Stage IV TMJ disorder (Wilkes classification). After consulting Dr. Tofiq Bohra, he recommended Level III bilateral TMJ arthroscopy. It turned out to be the right decision. Finally I was referred to Dr tofik bohara sir ,when I met tofik bohara sir he carefully reviewed my diagnosis report and all after that he reviewed new MRI scan and diagnosed severe joint issues on both sides .Dr bohara successfully treated both sides by arthroscopic surgery instead of open joint surgery .Dealt with a left side stitch infection for a month , but regular daily dresing antibiotics treatment by sir resolved the wound completely .Pain went away and the joint feels great now .
